GenoScreen mobilizes its technological resources and its R&D teams to meet the needs of academic and industrial researchers seeking expertise in genomics, metagenomics and bioinformatics.
Our interventions can be carried out as a partner or provider (services eligible for the Research Tax Credit in France). These activities are carried out under the guise of agreements that make it possible to specify the objectives pursued, the methods of carrying out the work and the desired guarantees regarding confidentiality.
Supplier of solutions and tools dedicated to the detection and analysis of microorganisms
GenoScreen develops optimized solutions for detecting, identifying, characterizing and tracing microorganisms and for analyzing microbiotics of interest for diagnostic or therapeutic projects. The solutions developed concern healthcare, nutrition or environmental professionals.
Two product lines, consisting of a genomic compartment and a software suite, are undergoing continuous development:
- The Metabiote® product line for the molecular microbiota study
- The Deeplex® product line for molecular analysis of mycobacteria
GenoScreen also offers advanced training in relation to its expertise (genomics, metagenomics...).
History - A track record of growth and adaptation in the genomics market
Since its foundation in 2001, GenoScreen has been developing DNA analysis services that meet the needs of life science research groups.
The company’s growth is based on constant R&D investment and strong specialization in molecular microbiology.
This growth summarizes three phases:
- Service provision in genomics and bioinformatics, which enabled us to develop relationships with many life science research groups,
- The development of R&D activities, in collaboration with leading research groups,
- The introduction of an innovation strategy, and specialization in international niche markets in molecular microbiology.
This development pathway has enabled GenoScreen to commercialize three types of products/services:
- Scientific analyses and monitoring services in genomics and bioinformatics,
- Consultancy, expert analysis and training in our fields of expertise,

Collaborative research - At the heart of international innovation in genomics
GenoScreen is a partner in collaborative research projects that bring together startups, multinationals and public-sector organizations. Our R&D teams provide their knowledge and expertise in the molecular microbiology of isolated agents and complex communities. This allowed our teams to develop our own projects for elaborating innovative products and services.
Our projects are designed to:
- Improve the diagnosis and management of acute/chronic diseases on humans and animals,
- Characterize and monitor microbial biodiversity, with applications in agronomy, agrifood and environment.
The common feature of these projects is the development of molecular tools for the characterization, monitoring and diagnosis of microbial communities. The key objective is to market simple analytical solutions and (ultimately) preventive, corrective or even therapeutic products based on microorganisms.
