Ces travaux, publi\u00e9s dans le <em>Journal of Allergy and Clinical Immunology<\/em> et mis \u00e0 l&rsquo;honneur par&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.aaaai.org\/global\/latest-research-summaries\/Current-JACI-Research\/mycobiome\" target=\"_self\">l\u2019Acad\u00e9mie Am\u00e9ricaine d\u2019Allergie, d\u2019Asthme et d\u2019Immunologie (AAAI)<\/a>, montrent aussi une variation dans ces micro et mycobiotes en fonction de la nature de la r\u00e9action inflammatoire des patients (endotype T2).<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;L\u2019asthme est la maladie chronique la plus fr\u00e9quente chez l\u2019enfant, bien qu\u2019elle puisse d\u00e9buter \u00e0 tout \u00e2ge. Elle se reconnait aux \u00e9pisodes r\u00e9currents de difficult\u00e9s respiratoires qu\u2019elle provoque, nomm\u00e9es crises d\u2019asthme. Il arrive que des crises aig\u00fces durent plusieurs heures, voire plusieurs jours, sans que les traitements classiques ne parviennent \u00e0 la calmer. On parle alors d\u2019exacerbation.<\/p>\n<p>L\u2019OMS estime qu\u2019actuellement 339 millions de personnes dans le monde souffrent de l\u2019asthme. Les d\u00e9c\u00e8s qui lui sont imputables sont estim\u00e9s \u00e0 plus de 417 000 en 2016<sup>1<\/sup>, et l\u2019OMS alerte sur leur augmentation dans les 10 prochaines ann\u00e9es sans mesures de sant\u00e9 publique<sup>2<\/sup>.<\/p>\n<p>M\u00eame si les causes profondes de l\u2019asthme ne sont actuellement pas connues, de nombreux facteurs de risques ont \u00e9t\u00e9 identifi\u00e9s, parmi lesquelles les bact\u00e9ries et moisissures de l\u2019air ambiant. La gravit\u00e9 de l\u2019asthme peut, par ailleurs, \u00eatre r\u00e9duite en limitant l\u2019exposition aux d\u00e9clencheurs connus de ses exacerbations (allerg\u00e8nes, virus\u2026).<\/p>\n<p>Cette \u00e9tude pilote publi\u00e9e dans le \u00ab\u2009<em>Journal of Allergy and Clinical Immunology<\/em><sup>3<\/sup>\u2009\u00bb est la 1re \u00e0 mettre en \u00e9vidence une relation entre les communaut\u00e9s bact\u00e9riennes et fongiques pulmonaires de patients asthmatiques s\u00e9v\u00e8res et ceux de l\u2019air int\u00e9rieur de leur domicile. R\u00e9alis\u00e9e par le Centre de Recherche Cardio-Thoracique de Bordeaux (CRCTB, Inserm U1045, universit\u00e9 de Bordeaux, Inserm, CHU de Bordeaux) et GenoScreen (Lille), cette \u00e9tude a permis de mettre en \u00e9vidence une signature microbienne dans ces communaut\u00e9s microbiennes, propre \u00e0 l\u2019asthme s\u00e9v\u00e8re, en fonction de la nature de la r\u00e9action inflammatoire des patients.
