Treatment with S. boulardii CNCM I-745 significantly reduced plasmatic cholesterolemia and increased fecal cholesterol. It also significantly altered the composition of the intestinal microbiota. The analysis of the intestinal microbiota was performed by GenoScreen, from DNA extraction from the faeces to taxonomic and diversity analysis.<\/p>\n<p>The Metabiote solution used for this study is a standardized protocol, developed by GenoScreen, that guarantees the repeatability and reproducibility of experimental results.
