It provides an estimate <strong>level of diversity in living microorganisms<\/strong> in a given habitat, sample or environment and enables it to be compared to others. <\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Applications<\/h2>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This type of analysis has many applications in <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.genoscreen.fr\/en\/healthcare-nutrition\/\" type=\"page\" id=\"18\">healthcare<\/a><\/strong>, <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.genoscreen.fr\/en\/biodiversity\/\" type=\"page\" id=\"19\">environmental<\/a> <\/strong>and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.genoscreen.fr\/en\/agro-industries\/\" type=\"page\" id=\"20\">agrifood<\/a> sectors.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">It, notably, provides a <strong>fast analysis<\/strong> (with <strong>any type of sample<\/strong>) of the impact of a drug (antibiotics, chemotherapy, etc.), a <strong>pollutant <\/strong>or a <strong>change in a manufacturing process<\/strong> on microbial diversity.<\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">GenoScreen &#8211; Services provided<\/h2>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Our DNA analyses are based on targeted <strong>quantitative PCR<\/strong> methods that distinguish between prokaryotes and eukaryotes.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">GenoScreen also detains exclusive technologies <strong>to specifically identify fungi<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In addition to these whole-sample analyses, our scientific staff has developed <strong>targeted, quantitative assays<\/strong> for various bacteria of interest (<em>Lactobacillus casei, Bifidobacterium lactis, Faecalibacterium prausnitzii<\/em>, etc.).<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Other assays can be developed on a custom basis or on request, depending on the issue to be addressed.<\/p>\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-buttons is-content-justification-center is-layout-flex wp-container-core-buttons-is-layout-04478499 wp-block-buttons-is-layout-flex\" style=\"margin-top:20px;margin-bottom:20px\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-button\"><a class=\"wp-block-button__link has-elementor-28-fc-130-color has-elementor-primary-background-color has-text-color has-background has-link-color wp-element-button\" href=\"https:\/\/www.genoscreen.fr\/en\/genomic-services\/request-a-quote-genomic-analysis\" style=\"border-top-left-radius:0px;border-top-right-radius:0px;border-bottom-left-radius:0px;border-bottom-right-radius:0px\">Request a quote<\/a><\/div>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Molecular biomass represents the quantity of DNA extracted from a given sample.
